During the session on Tuesday, we get a handful of announcements but most of which are going to be relatively minor. The French GDP numbers and the CB Consumer Confidence figures will more than likely grab most of the headlines.

IBM

IBM has seen a couple of good sessions, and now has cleared a small gap. Because of this, I think that the market is going to continue to go higher, perhaps trying to fill the larger gap near the $153 level. Keep in mind that this is a countertrend trade, so it is at best going to be a short-term opportunity.

AUD/NZD

The Australian dollar continues to outperform the New Zealand dollar as we are testing the 1.10 level. A break above there census market much higher, but don’t be surprised if we get several pullbacks on short-term charts. Overall, it looks as if the Aussie is very bullish.

EUR/JPY

The Euro continues to show signs of life against the Japanese yen, as we are now above the 130 handle. A break above the 131 handle would be very bullish and should continue the uptrend that we have seen as of late. Pullbacks should continue to offer buying opportunities as the 128 level should act as a floor.

Thanks for watching, I’ll be back tomorrow.
